Background on The Kiss of Judas and Confessions...

The reworking of my first two titles came about to remove profanity from all previous editions. Since the publishing of those works years ago, God dealt with me on this issue. I had never been a person who spoke in such a manner, so why did my characters? Although the language was limited in use, it was still compromising.  I aimed to be realistic in my storytelling, but whose reality was I portraying?

"20O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:  21Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen." 1 Timothy 6:20-21, KJV.

"16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.  17And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;" 2 Timothy 2:16-17, KJV.
